Jr. Software Engineer

This position will design, implement and maintain HTTP/GET/POST web applications that
run in Java environment on Linux platform. If you are a self-starter who enjoys autonomy

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement and maintain automated HTTP/GET/POST software
- Evaluate current software and recommend future approaches
- Perform system and integration testing of software
- Assist with SDLC process improvements of the organization
- Collaborate with systems engineers and ops team
- Work with internal users to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Work with the systems test and field service organizations to ensure products meet performance and reliability specifications
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum 1 year of software development
- Programming knowledge of Java
- Good knowledge and understanding of HTTP protocol
- Strong sense of process, attention to detail, and exceptional follow-through
- General understanding of software configuration and release management
- Ability to work effectively with remote development groups
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance
- Good verbal and written communication skills
